Rehearsal Dinners, Showers and Weddings
The Lippincott House, built as a wedding gift in 1897, provides a fitting and elegant venue for showers, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, birthdays, brunches and small weddings. Brides may dress in one of our four suites upstairs before descending the staircase to stand before our rosewood fireplace or conservatory windows. Later, pose for photos in Rittenhouse Square, just steps away.
Choose from buffets, food stations or a seated dinner for 60. Chef Brendan Smith will personally attend to your menu selection and catering ideas for the special event.
Private Dinners, Cocktail Parties & Afternoon Tea
Looking to live like the Lippincotts? Enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres or an elegant plated dinner in a 19th-century historic home. Get creative with sushi, sliders or seasonal cuisine, or enjoy a boy’s night with cigars and cognac in the billiards room. Lippincott also offers a unique “chef’s table” event where guests can cook alongside Chef Brendan Smith in the home’s recently renovated kitchen (featuring an Aga stove).
Billiards Parties
Gathter a group of 25 for cocktails and fun in our beautiful billiards room featuring an antique Brunswick table and dart board. Cuisine options include a raw bar, sushi bar or plated dinner in our dining room.
